01: Welcome to Breathe In, Breathe Out

Breathe In, Breathe Out is a weekly podcast hosted by yours truly, Krystal Jakosky. Each week, we’ll release a brand new lesson or meditation focused on helping you navigate your life by giving YOU the tools to become your own healer.

Through the topics we cover and the meditations we experience, we’ll journey towards self-acceptance and ownership. Our meditations will cover a range of topics – from building your self-esteem and owning who you are to uncovering some of those not-so-pretty parts within us that hold us back from being our truest selves.

Together we can change the world by embracing ourselves, past, future, and most importantly, the present. I can’t promise it’ll be easy, but we can promise it’ll be worth it.

Think meditation is hard? Do me a favor, take a slow deep breath in and now breathe out. Congratulations, you just meditated. Hi, I’m Krystal Jakosky, and this is Breathe In, Breathe Out: a Weekly Mindfulness and Meditation podcast for anyone ready to own their own shit and find a little peace while doing it.

 

I am so excited you found me. I’m Krystal Jakosky – a teacher and life coach based in Colorado. I dream of a world full of people who own who they are and feel free enough to let others do the same. I’m working to build a community filled with people who agree.

 

In this community, we have a tagline that means the world to us. It’s a calling, an invitation, and a way of life. Our tagline is this: Permission to be you. Always. 

 

Permission to be who you truly are – even if that means breaking free from the boxes you were raised in. Permission to ask for what you need – even when your hands are shaking and your voice is trembling. Permission to start over if the life you’re living is sincerely not the life that you want to be living. Permission to own your past and your future.

 

In this community, you have permission to be you not sometimes, not most of the time, always. Our meditations will cover a range of topics from building your self-esteem and owning who you are to uncovering some of those not so pretty parts within us that hold us back from being our truest and most authentic selves. Through the topics we cover and the meditations we experience, we will journey towards self-acceptance and ownership together. We can change the world by embracing ourselves – our past, our future, and, most importantly, the present.

 

I can’t promise it’ll be easy. Change never is. I can promise you it will be worth it. I believe life is about being intentional. Each moment is an opportunity. Challenging outdated attitudes brings about a new freedom and understanding.

 

Up can be down. Big can be small. And meditation can be really easy.
