11:11 has been a topic of interest and conversation for a long time.

Since today is 11/11 we thought we’d touch on some of the symbolic, spiritual, and energetic meanings behind the numbers. 

I have to tell you – a google search will take you down a fantastical Alice in Wonderland-type rabbit hole full of insights and inspiration. You’ll learn about Master Numbers, Life Path Numbers, and Angelic Numbers. Not to mention the energetic meaning behind all of them and how they mix with Astrology, among other things. It’s a world unto itself and if you’re interested, I encourage you to explore. You may be surprised by what you find.

If you’d rather avoid the rabbit hole I’m happy to expand a tiny bit on the subject. I’m far from an expert, and yet, I’m more than happy to share what I know and intuitively feel.

First off, the number 1 is a new beginning. One is “Self.” It is where things start and grow from. Without 1 there can’t be a 2, 3, or 11. Think of Spring and opening up.

11 is what’s called a Master Number. It’s two number 1’s, side by side and building upon each other. One 1 is self and the second 1 is adding more power, say intuition, angelic guides, etc. 

If you take this concept and add the 11:11 it can be a sign with plentiful explanations which vary with who you’re asking. Following are just a few of the possibilities.

• You are being alerted to a New Beginning. 

• Pay attention to your intuition, you are being guided.

• You’re on the right path and already listening to your Guides, keep it up:)

• You are being supported by energies you can not see. This is the message they are sending.

• A loved one from beyond is sending you love and support. (Especially if you were thinking of them just before seeing the number.)

• You are in alignment and ready for inspiration, simply ask and listen to receive.

• It’s time to embrace and love yourself. What do you need in this moment?

• Your prayers will be answered.

• A reminder that you are connected to The Divine.

• It is time for a spiritual awakening.

The above is only a partial list and as you can see, 11:11 can mean a lot of things. Where you’re at in your spiritual and life path can contribute to what it means for you personally. Regardless, it’s a message that the universe is aware of you and the path you’re on. 

You’re not alone. Which can be a huge relief, thoroughly terrifying, and everything in between. Like so many other things, it’s all up to you.

Personally, I see 1234 a LOT. I take it as a reminder that I’m exactly where I need to be in this moment and I have all the potential to create a fabulous life as long as I stay tuned into my guides and my own needs along the way;)
