Last week, we spoke about the Divine Masculine and Divine Feminine in ALL of us – no matter our sex assigned at birth. This week, we’re diving in deeper with a guided meditation to meet those masculine and feminine selves. Let this meditation be a reminder that it’s okay to be exactly who you are, just as you are.

Think meditation is hard? Do me a favor. Take a slow deep breath in and now breathe out. Congratulations! You just meditated. Hi, I’m Krystal Jakosky and this is Breathe In, Breathe Out, a weekly mindfulness and meditation podcast for anyone ready to own their own shit and find a little peace while doing it.
Welcome back to Breathe In, Breathe Out. I am so glad that you’re here. This is one of my favorite topics and I get very, very passionate about it. Last week, the episode was about the masculine and feminine that is within every single one of us and how we really need to find balance and bring that forward and allow ourselves the permission of living truly and authentically in whatever energy is presenting in those moments.
And this week I am taking you on a guided meditation to meet your masculine and feminine sides. So I’m excited for that.
I hope that you are currently just snuggling down into a super comfortable, delicious space for you to be able to relax and let go and breathe. Make sure you won’t be interrupted so that you can really just take part in this guided meditation.
Read MoreThen again, up through the nose and into your nasal cavities and then exhale through the mouth, letting it all go completely. With each inhale, just pay attention to how that life giving air feels coming in and going out. This beautiful cycle. It feeds every molecule and cell in your body, keeping you healthy.
Breathe in and out and on your next inhale. Let’s start that scan at the top of your head. This scan for any stress that you’re carrying. And that oxygen goes right to those spots of stress and they release on the exhale.
Your next breath in, continue down your forehead, your eyebrows, your eyes and cheeks. Feel the muscles relax as you breathe in and out.
And then you move down your ears, your jawline, your chin. Feel the muscles let go.
Deep inhale and exhale. You feel that stress at the base of your neck. You breathe into that. You feel it release as you let go, and continue scanning down your neck and out your shoulders.
Breath into any of those knots along the shoulders and the neck from carrying the weight. Let it go. Just falls off.
As you breathe in and out, down your biceps, your forearms, your wrists, palms and fingers.
Just feel every part of you letting go, releasing. As you inhale deeply and exhale, remove the scan down your chest and your rib cage. This beautiful space that cradles and protects your organs, your heart and your lungs. Breathe in and feel it, relax, breathe out. Let it come back to center.
And you move down into your belly as it expands, and then releases. Down your hips to your thighs. Another deep inhale, these powerful legs that carry you through your day.
You continue breathing in. As you scan further down and out to your ankles, your heels that carry that weight when you step. Your arches, the balls of your feet and your toes, your body fully relaxes and sinks into the surface that completely and fully supports you.
As you inhale and exhale. You are so at peace in this moment, relaxed, cradled, supported. You’re in a beautiful space.
We’re going to let your mind’s eye open up. Allow whatever space wants to appear to be before. For some, this may just be a blank space, a vast space. For others, it may be a forest clearing, surrounded by strong trees, confident and beautiful. Or perhaps it’s a Romanesque temple, tall columns. Allow whatever space wants to be, to materialize in your mind’s eye.
Breathe it in and exhale. Be present and beautiful in this moment. We want to meet some beautiful parts of our being.
So let’s take another deep breath in and allow the part of you that is your divine feminine materialize in front of you.
This is an expression of a side of you. Don’t second guess it. Just allow it. It may be more of a feeling and an energy. It may be animalist. It could be humanoid. Just let it up here.
Once you have this vision before you ask, are you my divine feminine? If the answer is no ask, if it will take you to your divine feminine and your scene may shift just a little as your divine feminine is presented to you.
Take this energy in, acknowledge her, her beauty, her simplicity. She may speak to you. Notice where in your body you feel her. Is she in your core, in your heart? Where is she in your body? Where do you feel her connected to?
Take a deep breath in and out? You can ask her name. She may tell you of her strongest strengths. How she nurtures you and helps you through life. Just take her in for a moment.
And now take another deep breath. Thank her for presenting. Thank her for being here and showing herself to you in whatever form she took.
And now let’s ask your masculine to appear in this sacred, safe space. Allow him to take whatever form he does. He chooses and then notice what you can about him. In whatever form he presents.
Where is he most connected to in your body? You can ask him to show you where you will feel it, when he is leading. Exhale. You can ask him his name and perhaps ask him his strengths.
Take another deep breath in and out.
Both of these energies are within you. Both of these energies work together to support you and help you through life. They balance each other out. They support each other. There are times that you lean more on the feminine and times that you draw more on the masculine.
They seem to move closer to each other. They are two halves of one whole. They work beautifully together. And as they come together, they unite and become a beautiful ball of light. Breathe in and out. Invite that beautiful light to come back into you. To be a part of you, to help you and nurture you through life. Always supporting, always there to call upon as you need, they’re beautiful and helpful. They’re strong and confident. They are You.
Just take a moment and place your hand on your heart.
Thanking them for this gift. This gift of understanding and peace, balance and clarity. Exhale that breath you’ve been holding onto. Again we’re going to thank them for being here, for manifesting.
And with your next breath. You’re going to begin the journey back to your body. To presence, to this moment. With another deep breath in you start to feel the surface that you are on. You may start to move a little bit and shift feeling your body out.
And with another deep breath in, you move your hands and your fingers, roll your wrists and your ankles. Becoming ever more present and aware. With another deep breath, you open your eyes. You look around the room, maybe you stretch your body and your back becoming more alert and present to this moment here and now.
Feeling a little more confident in the masculine and the feminine that both reside within you. The knowledge that you are whole because you have both of them. That without one or the other, you would be lacking something.
You are an amazing human being. You are a gift to yourself and to the world right here and right now. Embrace that. Show gratitude for that. And once you’ve given yourself that permission and that love and that gratitude, then just extend that to everyone around you.
With the loving knowledge that we are all unique, we are all special and we are all presenting ourselves exactly the way that we personally feel is right for us. Be authentic. Be true. Be present. This life is amazing.
I look forward to the good things you’re going to be doing, and I look forward to seeing you again here next time on Breathe In and Breathe Out.
